Since this segment is particularly pleasing to the public, Peugeot decided to further articulate its offer by presenting a world premiere at EICMA 2009, the new Tweet, a ‘big wheels’ light, a flat floor, offered in displacements 50, 125 and 150 cc .

The Peugeot is a scooter Tweet young and elegant, dedicated to those who seek handling and ease of driving, with particular attention to the needs of women. The aesthetic is characterized by the presence of the Peugeot Lion on shield and chrome structure that connects the two direction indicators, in a captivating combination with aluminum handle that we find in the rear passenger footrests and folding. Easy life on board thanks to seat post only 800 mm in height to allow you to safely rest their feet on the ground. The underseat storage compartment can hold a jet helmet with visor.

The Tweet, in all versions, has 16-inch wheels to 5 split spokes, 30 mm telescopic forks and twin shock rear (only one of 50 cc). The engine is a single cylinder 4 stroke air-cooled power and a carburetor capable of 4 CV of 50 cc, 8.5 hp at 125 hp at 10.5 cc and 150 cc. The braking is ensured by two 226 mm disks on 125 and 150 cc, 50 cc while the rear is a brake drum of 130 mm. The weight is relatively low, 100 kg for 50 Tweet, 109 kg for the 125 cc and 115 cc 150 kg for the Tweet.

To complete the full range of standard equipment is a practical and functional range of accessories, from windshield and the trunk to match the bodywork. The Tweet will be available in gray, black and cream. Price not yet announced.
