Triumph Speed Triple 1050 SE 2010

The Speed Triple in SE version is not a new absolute, already last year he was presented a special series to celebrate 15 years of history. A successful model, created in 1994 as ‘café racer’ but with the successive developments has contributed to the birth of the naked style ‘streetfighter’, true sports stripped hull and equipped with high handlebars.

The SE – Special Edition — for this 2010 introduces some new aesthetic and a major upgrade to the bike. The painting is two colors, with red background and white longitudinal stripe fillets blacks on the fender, fairing, tank and seat, the combination is called ‘Tornado Red’ and ‘Crystal White ‘.

The suspensions have been developed with modified internal components, both for the bracket for the shock, the characteristics of hydraulic braking improved in terms of sinking and range, thanks to the rear spring relaxation of 5%. This should better comfort, a more controlled sinking of the fork under braking and an overall better control of the bike. These changes will also be extended to the standard version.

Mechanically, no news, we are therefore faced with the known three-cylinder in-line from 1050 cc and 128 hp at 9250 rpm, with single arm rear and Brembo brakes with 320 mm discs and radial calipers .

Triumph Italy will sell only 60 copies of the Speed Triple SE 2010 at a price that has not been determined yet but that will not be very different from those of the standard version, currently on sale to the retail price of 11,700 euros turnkey.
