The news and pictures of a new livery for Suzuki B-King have quickly bounced on the web this morning, first on some foreign newspapers on line and then on known Italian blog. Blogs obviously misinformed because Suzuki Italy made it known that the color white-blue with gold rims, you can view the images at right, is intended solely for the German market .
for Italy, besides the standard version, as reported by the official site Suzuki is offering two versions of color, was designed to Hyaku, a ‘special edition’ with a lot of special parts and a proposal to celebrate 100 years of history of Suzuki. A choice that can only agree: The basic model is certainly very personal aesthetic but the intrusiveness of the double terminal number and the extension of the license plate, a little mortified ‘the line of hyper-naked Japanese. The Hyaku is instead really aggressive with the kit tailpipes that short dash line and black livery that emphasizes strong character of the B-King.
We recall briefly the technical characteristics of bare 1300 Suzuki. The 4-cylinder engine is derived from the GSX-1300 Hayabusa and this version is credited with 183.6 hp at 9,500 rpm for peak torque amounts to 146 Nm at 7,200 rpm. Perimeter frame, with truss swingarm, adjustable suspension and the “raft” rear 200/50 are the technical and aesthetic elements that define a naked muscular is an understatement.
The price is set at 13,990 euros fc for the standard model, and 14,500 fc Euro for the version prepared by GP Design Hyaku but available at the official Suzuki sales network.
