Already revamped with the debut of MY 2010, the new Sherco ST 2011 was further “revised and corrected” to better address the next season. It is not, however, only the technical or stylistic refinements. The technicians of the Spanish, in fact, have gone further in the design of the engine, which was completely revised in building (now die) and provision of ancillary components.
Among the novelties of the new special single-cylinder units of 2.9, in fact, is the cooling system, which now is part of a radiator extremely compact in size and a water pump that minimizes the presence of pipes. News for the hydraulic clutch is completely redesigned to include space for the reed valve as you are new to the power that is entrusted to a VHST Dellorto flat power from a pump capable of ensuring a better flow of the mixture in each condition.
Again reviewed the position of the air filter, which is located where normally one would expect to find the tank. The new position allows to lengthen the duration of the filter as well as allow better breathing engine. Regarding the frame there are no particular news, except the introduction of new pads (removable) of steering, while as regards the aesthetics have been developed previously unpublished details and a color-fashioned.
