Starting from the TC449, version designed exclusively for track competitions and therefore devoid of tricks “electrical” that allow you to obtain approval on the road version TE449.

The differences between the version of the Enduro and Cross are not, of course, this detail: the wheels, for example, match the same 21 “front a 19-inch rear (18″ on the Enduro), while in terms of engine between the two “sisters” change the compression ratio of 12:1 (13:1 on TE 449), the profile of the camshafts and the throttle body, always Keihin 46 mm throttle but with one instead of two present on TE449.

Electric starter, 98 mm bore and stroke of 59.6, the German engine boasts a displacement of 449.6 cc as well as the interesting possibility of the coaxial swingarm pivot the pinion transmission. One solution, the latter called CTS (Coaxial Traction System) and allows you to maintain a constant chain force throughout the travel of the rear wheel.

A gem that has been a successful frame tubular steel double cradle more compact swing and a long, characterized by a unique system of link structure and reverse pivot at the top of the suspension arm.

Kayaba fork with 48 mm forks and Brembo brakes with floating calipers and 260 mm petal discs and 240 mm, the new Husqvarna is very well made in terms of constructive and edited by a stylistic point of view. It now remains to understand what is the potential, although something tells us that as early as next year there will be a new candidate for the title in the World.
