ontinuing the process of profound renewal of the Husqvarna range, which is presented to Intermot 2010. The new models for 2011 are 10, some of which we have already seen during the summer, while here in Cologne, the firsts are three: CR125, WR125 and TC250. Husqvarna has always believed a lot in the 125 two-stroke enduro and motocross, which are the technical reference point of the class as far back as 1988. The 2011 models of CR/WR125 have been upgraded with modifications techniques derived from experience in the race at the European championships in motocross and enduro.
The CR125 has changed focus mainly on the chassis and includes a new modified chassis at the bottom of the cradle, now more tapered and less prominent than the previous version. The wheel rims have been polished and new hubs of Braking wave disc. Attacks on the engine have been redesigned and reinforced with new bracelets fit on the head. The air box has a new design that makes it more impervious to water infiltration. The engine is now equipped with a revised exhaust silencer, and a new clutch basket equal to the one fitted on models TC/TE250, more robust and functional. The graphics are renewed as with all models 2 and 4 stroke Husqvarna system with application to plastic Mould, or integrated to the panel.
The sister enduro, the WR 125 we find the same changes and new graphics that follow the layout of the 2001 Husqvarna. In addition, it is on a new number plate mask for the headlight, with new locking mechanism on the handlebars and hand guards new design. The engine has now received a new unit instead of digital and analog model mounted on the previous WR. Cooling the plant is now fitted with a thermostat in order to monitor and optimize the operating temperature of the engine.
The range 250 4-stroke Husqvarna motocross and enduro has undergone major changes to the chassis and engine, and is accompanied by the new TE310 equipped with the new engine “small” 250 led to 300 cc. Version TC 250, in particular, is renewed in the chassis and engine, thanks to the power supply for battery-free Mikuni electronic fuel injection and throttle body 45 mm in diameter, tested during the racing season in the European championship motocross MX2 where Husqvarna was the star.
The engine was also updated on the head with a new intake and exhaust and a new intake camshaft. The crankcase has been reinforced and now are equipped with steel sleeves near the connections to the frame. The exhaust system Akrapovic has been designed from the Slovenian Husqvarna and manifolds in stainless steel, titanium silencer and heat shield of steel.
The bicycle industry has been updated in the frame, other than in the lower engine cradle and close to the floorboards with forged steel plates to reduce the lateral dimensions and increase stamina. E ‘was also tapered surface of the cradle so as to have minimal impact with the ground or obstacles, and also the area of the steering head has been reinforced. The PPG is now built into a new material more resistant to shocks and the wheels have new polished aluminum hubs.
