A few days after the first appearance an almost final version of a copy of the new generation K1600 , BMW Motorrad spreads the very first official information on the first two models in the range that will use the new engine six cylinder in-line , real trademark in the automotive world for the Bavarian manufacturer .
TWO MODELS
BMW K1600 K1600 GT and GTL come to inaugurate a new dimension in tourism , combining new ways to package a very interesting technical and technological as well as unique in its kind : 160 hp at 7,500 rpm and 175 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm , the new tourer propeller are characterized by a very wide range of equipment , ranging from xenon headlights with heated grips and cruise control via the onboard computer .
O SPORT TOURING
Compared to K1600 GTThe K1600 GTL has been specially designed for travel in pairs. The pilot and passenger, according to allegations made by Monaco , enjoy a more relaxed riding position , based on a saddle placed on two levels , and at a lower positioning of the platforms , and advanced. The passenger also has a back support integrated top – houses.
