Beta Olympus entered the front door of Manufacturers, designing and building in-house from 2009 single-cylinder engines fitted to the RR Enduro range, previously driven by KTM engines. The aesthetic connotation of RR is now stronger and looks great impact graphics with red frame that harks back to the glorious cross Beta / regularity seventies.
The fork is set at new lighter aluminum plates and solid risers and allow time to change the position of the handlebars over 6 notches (previously 4) increasing the ability to customize the riding position.
ENGINE UPGRADES
Updates of 2011 4-valve single-cylinder engines provide a new heat treatment of the primary and the gear on the freewheel hub to increase stiffness. Electrical components of goodwill (with new gear ratios) applied a DLC coating to reduce friction and increase efficiency in the dry run.
Engines 450 and 520 is a piston profile reviewed, only 520 on the bearing rod provides treatment DLC, new seals and valves have the tensioner has a hydraulic tensioner reviewed, all interventions aimed at improving reliability.
“EQUIPMENT
Instrumentation, compact and lightweight, it’s all new and digital, in addition to classical functions, allows to change the parameter of the wheel diameter (in enduro motard) and is enhanced earnings hour-counter, which is essential for proper maintenance. The clutch lever is of the AJP, with its innovative and bushes cover that protects more mud, water and dirt and ensures greater accuracy and stability of operation over time.
Also new is the cover of the airbox with ‘pin’ optimized to make it easier and faster operation of coupling and uncoupling during maintenance.

Already this month of July the new Beta will be in dealers at a price fixed at Euro 8400 to RR400, RR450 for Euro 8450 and Euro 8700 for the RR520.
